As a Security Professional - Telecom Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service through professional interactions and proactive communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by following security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the technology-focused location.
  • Respond in a calm and problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations as they arise on site.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors, assisting with questions and providing direction as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance issues to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols relevant to the technology and media environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
