What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the commercial real estate location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting information as required and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Communicate professionally with building tenants, staff, and visitors to offer assistance and address security-related concerns as they arise.
• Maintain accurate and timely logs or reports related to security-related incidents, patrols, and/or other activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
