As a Security Officer – Financial Institution Patrol Monitor in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a strong, visible presence at a leading financial institution. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond promptly to situations, and communicate clearly with clients and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location and around its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while on duty, ready to respond to changing situations and/or emergencies as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
