As a Unarmed Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a prominent manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. This primarily driving role involves routine patrols, remaining highly visible throughout the facility, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business property and its perimeter.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area.
• Support Allied Universal in upholding client expectations through professional conduct and adherence to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience in driving-related posts is preferred.
• Holding a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
