As a Security Officer - Access Control Financial Services in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location, supporting a secure environment for clients and staff. This position requires driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to buildings and restricted areas, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures in line with site-specific policies for financial institutions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, utilizing problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors in accordance with location guidelines.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and/or any concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following established procedures for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
