As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Utilities Site in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a utilities location. Your role will involve monitoring designated areas, responding promptly to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure while addressing issues that may arise in the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the utility facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe individuals entering or leaving the premises, maintaining a visible security-related presence to help to deter potential issues.
• Document and report any observed irregularities, property damage, or unusual occurrences during patrols and/or while stationed in assigned areas.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management, local law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Assist with the implementation and enforcement of site-specific policies, procedures, and protocols related to security-related operations and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
