As a Security Professional - Armed Flex - Government Site Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the government location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and check credentials to help to control entry and exit at the government property.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities in detailed written reports.
  • Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents and/or emergency situations.
  • Remain alert to unusual activity and/or conditions throughout the government location and promptly report concerns to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Possess an active armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
