What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual conditions within the location.
• Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with established procedures.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or concerns.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents.
• Participate in training sessions and maintain awareness of all site-specific procedures and protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
