As a Security Officer - Shopping Mall Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help foster a secure environment for shoppers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the location as required by site-specific protocols.
• Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Support emergency response activities as instructed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of observations, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
