Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Transportation Patrol in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to individuals at the transportation location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or irregularities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives according to site protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when required.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as necessary to address incidents or emergencies on the premises.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift according to Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
