As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch Driver in Corona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and direct communication via radio, telephone, and computer systems to coordinate response activities within the location.
  • Receive, document, and appropriately relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and/or routine requests for assistance.
  • Dispatch Allied Universal personnel to various areas as required, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
  • Assist in the coordination of response to emergencies and/or incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications and activities during the shift.
  • Support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures as directed by management.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and/or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of the location and reporting irregularities as observed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
