As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities across assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and communicate promptly with team members to support ongoing operations. Your role will also involve providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, embodying Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage incoming calls, radio communications, and electronic alerts to provide timely and accurate information to field personnel and/or relevant authorities at the location.
  • Dispatch Allied Universal security-related personnel to incidents, emergencies, and/or routine calls for service according to established protocols and site-specific procedures.
  • Document all calls, incidents, and/or activities accurately in logbooks or electronic systems for record-keeping and follow-up purposes.
  • Coordinate communication between security-related personnel, management, and external agencies as required.
  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points through electronic systems or surveillance equipment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and/or concerns from employees, visitors, or other individuals at the location.
  • Support Allied Universal field personnel during emergency response activities by relaying information and maintaining communication until incidents are resolved.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
