Job Description


As a Security Professional - Residential Patrol Driving Role in SUNNYVALE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols and staying visible throughout the community to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a primarily driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
