As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and exceptional communication skills will contribute to a secure environment for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required.
• Remain alert to potential threats and hazards that may impact the operation and/or security of the utilities location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
