What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail location to help to deter theft and/or unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to customers and staff as needed.
• Complete detailed incident and/or activity reports as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
• Carry and responsibly handle a company-authorized firearm in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for roles in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
