Job Description


As a Security Officer - Auto Lot Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading auto industry location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and responding promptly to any unusual activity, all while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior within the location.
  • Observe and document any unusual activity or security-related incidents, following company and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with on-site staff and emergency services as required during incidents or emergency response situations.
  • Maintain a professional presence while representing Allied Universal at the auto facility.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
