As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver Full-Time in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a food and beverage location. This armed and driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors at the food and beverage location.
• Respond calmly and with problem-solving skills to incidents and/or critical situations that may arise on site.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Remain alert to unusual conditions or activity within the location, reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Participate in emergency response activities as directed and in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification if applying for positions in Texas.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
