As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver 21+ in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you'll play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. As an armed and driving position, you'll be trusted with both vehicle patrols and the responsible handling of security equipment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and its perimeter, to help to deter potential incidents.
• Monitor for unusual activity related to the food and beverage environment and report observations according to site protocols.
• Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and observing entry points as necessary.
• Adhere to all protocols regarding the carrying and handling of assigned firearms in accordance with company policies and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergency situations.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in compliance with Allied Universal policies and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
