As a Security Guard - Industrial Patrol Driver in Decatur, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing a strong visible presence. This position requires driving responsibilities, so having a valid driver's license in the job state is essential. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following all security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual situations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors to provide information and assistance related to security-related matters.
• Support access control protocols, verify credentials, and assist in maintaining security-related standards throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
