Job Description


As a Security Professional – Telecom Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology-focused location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct regular patrols, assist visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the tech/media/telecom location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and assist employees and visitors as needed.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with onsite personnel and local law enforcement as appropriate to address security-related matters.
  • Follow all client-specific guidelines and Allied Universal policies while performing assigned duties on location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
