As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and monitoring access points. Your visible presence will help to deter incidents and promote a positive atmosphere for those at the site. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a collaborative and people-first culture. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences, to management and/or law enforcement as required.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and provide a visible Allied Universal presence at the location.
• Assist visitors, drivers, and employees by providing directions and information as needed, while following security-related protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting patrol activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
