As a Unarmed Security Guard - Access Control in Woodway, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Verify credentials and identification to help maintain authorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and access control events as required by site procedures.
• Provide guidance and assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors regarding site access and security-related processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
