Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Yuma, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving position, requiring you to conduct routine patrols throughout the property, interact with team members, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas of the facility to support access control measures and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist employees, contractors, and visitors with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment within the food and beverage processing location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A current guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
