As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting thorough patrols throughout a bustling food and beverage location. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and respond promptly to any situations that arise. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity or conditions relevant to a food and beverage production location.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors while carrying out duties on the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
