As a Security Officer - Armed Flex Patrol in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a strong, visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and uphold site procedures.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activities and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response efforts, such as evacuations or medical situations, following established protocols for government locations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to uphold a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Must possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
