As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Financial Site in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the site to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your presence and strong communication skills will help foster an atmosphere of trust and professionalism. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at financial institution locations by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas as directed to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior within financial institution locations.
• Document incidents and observations according to site and Allied Universal protocols, communicating relevant information to appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
