What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior within the retail setting.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any interactions as required by site procedures.
• Communicate and cooperate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when their involvement is necessary.
• Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential threats, reporting observations to management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific policies, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least three years of combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related fields, or 5 years of armed experience. 
• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• Must possess Level Three Armed Certification if employed in Texas.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
