As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Banking in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to assist in maintaining a secure environment within the financial institution setting.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and emergency responders as needed during routine operations and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
