What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the business and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required.
• Monitor premises for unusual activity and report observations in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Work closely with store staff and customers to help to maintain a welcoming and orderly environment.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials where necessary, and documenting all incidents or irregularities.
• Remain visible and approachable to help to deter potential incidents within the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III armed certification if required by the state of Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
