Job Description


As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome and assist visitors, monitor access points, and respond to security-related incidents with professionalism and care. Your role will involve using alarm panels, managing access control systems, and delivering outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. You will play a key part in helping to deter incidents through your presence at the front desk, utilizing technology and your communication skills to create a positive experience for everyone who enters the building. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the premises by verifying credentials and issuing visitor badges, as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including communication with building management and/or emergency personnel.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence in the lobby or reception area.
  • Answer phones and direct calls or provide information as appropriate for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
