As a Security Officer - Commercial Site - Weekends in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Dispatch Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring activity, communicating vital information to field teams, and helping to deter incidents through expert coordination and attention to detail. You will also provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors, utilizing computer or tablet systems to facilitate access control and incident response. What You'll Do:

  • Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations by communicating calmly and utilizing problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed to relay information and requests regarding security-related matters.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of all incoming calls, incidents, and dispatch communications.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points via electronic systems.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and delivering information in a professional manner.
  • Follow site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Support regular and/or random patrols by coordinating with on-site officers and tracking their status.
  • Report and escalate any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
