As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Security Clearance in Columbia City, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and vehicles, assisting with access control protocols.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft attempts, or suspicious behavior, according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
