As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Elizabethtown, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for all occupants.
  • Document incidents, observations, and interactions accurately in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and law enforcement as needed to support a coordinated response to incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Uphold Allied Universal standards for professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service while performing all assigned duties in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
