As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, maintaining high visibility, and responding to situations as they arise. Your role will require exceptional customer service skills and strong communication as you interact with diverse individuals throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Carry and maintain readiness with a firearm in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies for armed posts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques whenever possible.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Work closely with healthcare staff and visitors to assist with security-related needs and foster a supportive environment.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
  • Follow all security-related policies and procedures specific to the healthcare environment, adapting to changes in routines or protocols as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
