As a Security Guard - Aero/Defense Security Clearance Patrol in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a leading aerospace and defense environment. Must have an Active DoD TS-SCI Clearance and have 2+ years of security experience

Pay Rate: $37.32 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with working environments and conditions varying depending on the location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions that may impact the security-related interests of the site.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing assigned duties.
  • Document incidents and observations accurately, following company and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
