As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Texas in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a dynamic food and beverage location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with guests and staff to provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying a firearm as required by the post profile.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter of the food and beverage location to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and operational areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unauthorized activities.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports regarding patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.
  • Work collaboratively with employees and visitors to address questions and support a secure environment.
  • Comply with all licensing and certification requirements for armed posts, as well as Allied Universal policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
