As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Texas in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a dynamic food and beverage location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with guests and staff to provide exceptional customer service and communication. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities, placing you at the forefront of maintaining a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying a firearm as required by the post profile.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter of the food and beverage location to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and operational areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unauthorized activities.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports regarding patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.
• Work collaboratively with employees and visitors to address questions and support a secure environment.
• Comply with all licensing and certification requirements for armed posts, as well as Allied Universal policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
