As a Security Officer – Flex Healthcare Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and professional communication will support hospital operations, offering assistance as needed and responding to situations with care and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within a healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of the healthcare environment and adapt to varying working conditions as required by the location.
  • Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must comply with all hospital health protocols, including vaccination requirements.
  • Applicants must be able to perform duties in hospital environments, including morgue areas, as required.
  • Applicants must be able to assist with the restraint of individuals in accordance with hospital policies.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
