As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Driving Role in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all. This primarily driving post involves routine area checks, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and engaging with the community through exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to observe for any unusual activity and help to deter unwanted behaviors.
  • Monitor the premises for potential security-related concerns and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public, providing assistance as needed.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, patrols, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the client site to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
