What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding as appropriate during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity and/or security-related incidents in and around the facility.
• Assist with controlling access to designated areas within the location as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors when addressing access protocols and security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal procedures and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
