As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver - Financial Center in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment, while your strong communication skills will help deliver outstanding customer service. This position requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal staff and client personnel to promote a secure environment within the financial institution setting.
• Complete required logs and reports accurately and in a timely manner as part of daily responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
