As a Security Officer - Unarmed Tech Patrol in BRANCHBURG, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the property, offering support to visitors and employees. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols and training.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential risks within the premises, including both interior and exterior areas.
• Document and report security-related observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Support access control protocols by observing and reporting any concerns regarding authorized and/or unauthorized personnel.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment, adapting to the unique needs of a tech, media, and telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
