As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bristow, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading technology location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visibly present to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas by vehicle as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and/or client management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, in accordance with site-specific procedures and training.
• Maintain detailed reports and logs of patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and/or client staff to support a secure environment within a technology and data center setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
