As a Security Officer - Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist tenants, visitors, and/or guests at the front desk within a commercial real estate location, providing customer service and responding to inquiries.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures at the front desk, including checking identification and managing deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding any unusual activities or emergencies.
• Document and report all observed incidents, security-related issues, and activities in accordance with company and client policies.
• Support the implementation of emergency response activities when appropriate, assisting tenants and/or visitors as needed.
• Maintain a professional presence at the front desk and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
