As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control Driver in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, vendors, and employees with inquiries and following site-specific protocols.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner as directed by Allied Universal policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific policies and emergency response activities, providing assistance as necessary.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to support the security-related needs of the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience in loss prevention, access control or badge management is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
