Job Description


As a Security Officer - Media Campus Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your visible presence and professional communication will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while you respond promptly to any concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for all personnel and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including both the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter inappropriate activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, offering assistance as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal security-related presence.
  • Accurately document and report any incidents, unusual observations, or concerns according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and/or exits as required, helping to maintain order within the location.
  • Collaborate with on-site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and provide prompt communication during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
