As a Security Professional Armed Patrol - Financial Sector in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout financial institution locations. Your presence will provide reassurance to clients and staff, while your commitment to customer service and strong communication skills will create a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within and around the location, including the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or security-related risks, and promptly report and/or respond according to established protocols.
• Maintain awareness of the unique environment and potential security-related issues associated with financial institution locations.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and security-related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
• Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
