As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech Media in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual circumstances.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents as outlined in post orders.
  • Assist visitors and/or employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a courteous manner.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related occurrences.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support the needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
