Job Description

As a Security Professional - Financial Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will play a key part in maintaining a secure environment, providing excellent customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and/or site supervisors.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document and communicate all incidents and/or issues according to site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Remain alert while on duty and maintain a visible presence throughout assigned patrol areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
