As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Utilities in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols at utility locations. Your presence and attentive communication will support a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report security-related irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
• Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Remain alert to potential security-related threats or hazards within the utility environment and take appropriate action as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
