What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized access within the retail location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, following site-specific procedures.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information related to access protocols and location policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail space and perimeter to identify and report security-related issues.
• Communicate clearly with management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document and report all security-related observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and/or other urgent actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
